Cheese and broccoli pasta for children

I thought I would share one of my go to dinners for my girls. Cheese & broccoli pasta. Simply known as "Pasta" in our household. This is a way for me to get Pen to eat broccoli, as all the other ways have failed. I use store cupboard and freezer ingredients, making it is so quick and easy.

You will need:

Whole wheat pasta

Frozen broccoli (frozen is better than fresh)

Cream cheese

Cheddar cheese.

Boil the pasta and broccoli together in the same pot (like I said, this is quick & easy!)

Once the broccoli is soft, drain the pasta and broccoli mixture.

In the same pot used to cook the pasta, start to mash the broccoli. Add 1/3 of a tub of cream cheese and mix it into the broccoli and pasta mixture.

Finally, plate up the pasta and top with grated cheddar cheese.

It is now ready to serve.

A quick and easy, one pot dinner for the kids.
